Live registrato all'Arena Civica di Milano ii 14.06.1979.
Un fantastico concerto prodotto da Cramps Records in collaborazione con Rai Trade, con interviste agli artisti, Renato Marengo e il commento in esclusiva di Gianni Sassi.
E' la registrazione del concerto-omaggio al grande cantante, mancato prematuramente nel 1979.
Frutto della collaborazione di grandi cantautori dell'epoca, il concerto vanta la partecipazione degli Area International Popular Group, che eseguono due canzoni strumentali in apertura ed in chiusura, di Venegoni & Co., di Eugenio Finardi, di Antonello Venditti e tanti altri.
Il concerto à considerato il WoodStock italiano perché rappresentò un vero e proprio manifesto musicale e riuscì a raccogliere all'Arena Civica di Milano e nelle zona limitrofe più di 60.000 persone.
